Ok so I've been sorta neglecting my blog for a bit now and I'm sorry. It's been a wirldwind I'll tell ya that much. I am 37 weeks this week, still making my way around...still feeling pretty good for the most part. Haven't been sleeping to well because of my back and my hands being extremely numb. It's so very uncomfortable and I can't wait until I can actually feel with my hands again...as for the sore back, I'm sure that'll be gone not long after I don't have 2 people inside me.
I don't have too much time left at all. Marty and I are really happy and excited...we just can't wait to see their faces, and what they will look like.
We had a really nice Christmas together, our last one just him and I. It was low key, exactly what we wanted. We got up, I had my Annual Eggs Benedict that my hunny made me, which was delish as usual. We opened our preseys...had coffee, made our phone calls...then just relaxed. I think we even took a nap...Then we got ready and headed over to the Mabees later in the afternoon for a wonderful Chrismtas dinner. It was so nice to share Christmas with Dan, Jodi, Rhys, Sharon, Sandra and Cadyn. Thank you guys!
Tomorrow my mom catches the Via Rail in Campbellton at 1030pm and will arrive in London at 930pm. She is really looking forward to getting here, as I am for her to get here. It's going to be great having her here to help with the babies. So great.

Last Day of work...really?!?

Wow what a surreal feeling...last day of work for a whole year. Not just a little vacation, a whole friggin year. Yes I know, they say it flys...but I'll try my best to savor each day...hoping it's a nice slow year! HA Ya right eh...not on my life. 1 year 2 babies...life is going to be extrordinary I'm sure. But I look forward to each and EVERY moment...
I'm not an overly mushy person, so you're not getting any of that outta me, but I am really excited to see their faces and smell them...I love baby smell, well, not shitty diaper baby smell, but after a bath and all lotioned up smell...it's intoxicating. I'm excited to hear them laugh, I'm excited to see them smile for the first time...I'm excited to hear them yell and scream and talk in their own language. I'm excited to hear their first cry, but only the first one...lol
I'm nervous to be a mom though. And I think Marty is also nervous to be a dad. But I'm sure we'll do fine. We are the type of people who usually just go with it anyway, with a bit of life planning here and there. I guess we will do what works best for us and see how that goes. It's going to be challenging I'm sure at first, but we'll manage. As we always do.
Today has been a pretty good day. My friends and colleagues have been very supportive and positive this whole time...and today we went out for lunch, it was nice. I will miss work sorta...lol I work with some good people, fun people...makes the job easier that's for sure. Thanks guys for a great lunch out and I'll be sure to keep you all posted!

Holy Moly...28 weeks and counting.

You know it's funny, this whole pregnancy thing is kinna weird. Everything about pregnancy is very strange. I know I know, normal they say...a blessing, such an amazing feeling...REALY?!? I mean don't get me wrong, I've been feeling pretty damn good for the most part, except for the friggin sore back at night, I can't seem to get comfy. But once I put a pillow under my back, it seems to help me get in the position I need to be in to fall asleep without feeling like a cord in my back being pulled to shit. Then there's these movements, ok, for the most part, pretty neat, but then when they think my stomach is a nightclub and have a freakin dance off...holy shit, makes me wanna puke kinna, now, not puke from feeling sick, but like when you go on a ride at the carnival that was just not your thing...sorta that kind of puke...Pretty funny actually. Then there's the sudden movements that make me laugh, not cause they're funny HA HA funny...but sorta tickle is a strange funky way...and those ones quick, it happens I giggle then it's done.
I'm pretty thankful that this has been a positive experience so far. I hear horror stories from other women who didn't have quit a nice time as I had. God I hope the delivery is just a nice...
It's funny, I used to say, "Ah man, if I have twins and the experience is so great, I'll never go through it again, since we only would want 2 kids" well correction, we could only afford 2...but I'll take that statement back. I'm totally fine with going threw this once...it's been very pleasant and I'll be glad when it's done. I might feel differently when it is all done though...I hear often, Oh I loved being pregnant...Maybe I'll say that...who knows, but for now, I'm happy with what I have and when it's over and I see the 2 Dancers it'll be all worth it.
I know in my previous post I said I'm put up some pics. I'm sorry I haven't done that in a while. I promise I will though in the next couple of days. Halloween has come and gone and Marty and I had a kick ass costume that I'm sure you will love to see.
We head out East on Friday...YAY!! Can't wait...so excited to see everyone...friends, family...and to finally meet Charleigh Rae Harrigan, the newest additon to the Sam and Mark duo...! She's some sweet that's for sure...I'll be sure to post a pic of her too!

Yup, that is right. On Tuesday I'll be 26 weeks...I still can't believe it myself really. Still feeling pretty good too, except for the fact that I have had a cold this past week. I wanna say it's somewhat past, but I still am a bit stuffy.

Saw my OB, Dr. Schmidt last week, he said it's ok for me to take some cold meds as oppose to what people say about it while pregnant...Any Tylenol products are fine and cough syrop is ok too...the only thing he doesn't recommend is any IBProfen based meds such as Advil, Motrin ect. So I've taken Benelyn a few times, which has made me feel much better.

So yay!

Been feeling lots of movement this weekend. It's funny cause it comes and goes really. Some days it's like their dancing in there and others not much. I guess now that they are getting bigger, developping, growing and getting smarter and smarter they will just keep trying to move until they don't have room to move anymore.

I just finished reading The Birth House, by Ami McKay. What a great book, if you haven't read, you should. It's funny that I would choose a book like this, being pregnant and all. I don't want to give the story away, but it's about Midwives back in the early 1900, based outta Nova Scotia. The trials and tribulations of a small town and closed minded men and woman. Such a great read!

I'm trying to post more, but it's so difficult. It shouldn't be really, but in the evenings I get so tired. Usually in bed by 9pm. But I promise I'll try though.

I will try and post pics soon, everytime I try it take FOREVER to load...My patience are thin.

Oh geez...21 weeks already!

Well it's 21 weeks this week...21 weeks that I have had 2 little pumpkins growing in me...sounds insane...and to be honest I still can't believe it myself.
I had a ultrasound yesterday then today I saw my OB, Dr. Jordan Schmidt. Everything is going very well. Kinna makes me a bit nervous...that everything is good...I am feeling good, and have been since day one, with some tiredness of course. Overall it's all good! Which makes me very happy...things don't always go so smoothly with us...so if this is one thing in our lives that will go well then that's what I would want to use my "freebie" on...100%.
We got to see the babies on the ultrasound monitor...pretty cool...they were moving around so much though...so they couldn't get a shot of both in a frame...which is ok, at least we got to see them.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to my Husband, Partner, Friend!

Today is a special day for me...it's my 2nd Wedding Anniversary. With the move and having a few day trips this week we decided to keep it simple, which is totally ok with me.
Woke up this morning, made hot chocolate for my husband and toast with rasberry jam, and half coffee and half hot chocolate with toast for me too. We then hung out for a bit, and then decided to go out gallavanting. Stopped for McDonalds coffee, then went to vaccumm out our truck, romantic, ya I know eh! lol The proceeded to visit Jodi and Rhys, meet friends, Karen and Lily. Had a little visit there, picked up a much needed body pillow that Jodi has generously given me...thank you, I can't wait to use it tonight.
Came home after that...after getting gas of course....now just sitting here watching a marathon of The Big Bang Theory...so funny!
I think I will go down and wash the windows in the truck, then armorall the dash...our truck desperately needs it, and after the vaccumm it'll be all nice and clean! :)
I am VERY excited for supper tonight...Marty put the BBQ together yesterday, and today we BBQ up some steaks...Hmm...sauteed Mushrooms and Onions, with asparugus on the BBQ as well, with a side salad...my mouth is watering just thinking about it...then we will go to a movie, specifically, "My brother the idiot" with Paul Rudd, looks hilarious, can't wait! We haven't been to a movie in ages...we have a Airmiles Coupon for movie and popcorn and pop...woohoo! Nice and Cheap! Makes me happy...leave more money for IKEA on Wednesday...Yay!! Tomorrow we leave for Burlington to see January and the boys! Can't wait...! So far the Stay-cation has been great! By the end of the week, our place will be exactly how I like it...I'm happy.
I have been feeling good...some days more tired than others, and my blood pressure hasn't been too bad. My back has been a bite sore, but I guess that just comes with the territory!
It's been just over 2 weeks since the Armstrongs have left...seems as they are doing very well...very happy for them, can't wait to visit...!

This post is dedicated to our good friends Shelley and Trevor Armstrong as they take on their Mexellent Adventure in the sunny country of Mexico...for life. Yup, that's right, they did it...they sold all of their worldly belongings and their home here in London and move to Ajijic, Mexico...along with her mom and dad, Joan and Colin Wright...oh the life.
They took their quest to drive a full van of stuff including their crazy, lovable Bassett hound Flash...and took the open road...through the U.S of A, Texas bound...to the border to cross over to paradise? Perhapds...I guess we'll find out real soon. What I do know is that they have arrived in beautiful Ajijic, on Lake Chapala Mexico...we patiently await a blog post and email...!

Well I'm back...Life has been pretty hectic the past couple of months, hence the delay in posting.
Ok so where to start...I guess first and formost...We're expecting, TWINS! Yup, you read that correct...Marty and I are going to be parents to Twins...we don't what we're having and won't be finding out until they are ready to join us...and that will be in January 2012.
Wow we were shocked to say the least. After the shock, and after it settled in...we were nothing but happy and excited. Our friends and family have been so supportive...which makes this major change easy to deal with. Don't get me wrong, we're nervous, but it'll all work out. We can't wait to meet them...Life is going to be insane...Can't wait!
I just got back this morning from NB for a week. It was a great trip home, very fast, but worth it none the less. Had a wonderful baby shower for Sam...who is also expecting. And looking fabulous I might add. Got to see one of my besties, Arrah and her special little girly Avah, all of my family and friends...my awesome cousin Julie also came to see me from Moncton, so happy to see her. Also had an opportinity to attend one of my favorite cousins wedding Howie...got to see my aunt Diane and Uncle Roger and had the opportunity to spend some time with Howie and he new wife Jen. The week was fulfilling, I can't even explain how happy I am to have had the chance to make it home...
So my post it a bit crazy I'm sure...I should probably say that tomorrow I'll be 16 weeks. I can't even believe it...So far this pregnancy has been wonderful. No sickness at all. Feeling great...was extremely tired at first...but that has somewhat went away. I am blessed to be feeling to great, so far so good. I pray this continues.
I know this post is somewhat short, but it's getting a bit late, and I'm back to work tomorrow. So I will post again soon...more details and plans to come!

Lately the exaustion has been consuming me...so tired...try to get to bed early, and I do most nights, but come 10-11am, I feel like I need a nap, desperately...then of course after lunch, around 130-2pm, another nap is much needed. Of course, I don't get to take these wonderful naps I am speaking of...just wishful thinking I guess. I could use my lunch, and go nap at the Nurses office...but then I'd have to eat at my desk, and I really hate doing that...so I'll just try and tough it out...
Yesterday was my staff picnic, what a nice day it was. And alot of fun. Good eats, good weather and good music, can't go wrong.
Then last night I was able to meet up with the Girls, January, Sandra, Carol and Jodi...Jan was in town and we in serious need of girl time and no kids for a few hours...and I believe that is what we gave her. We all met at my place, then proceeded to walk a couple of blocks to the Old South Village Pub, on Wortley. I wouldn't recommend it. Our server was sweet, but the other server wasn't, and the food is over priced. But the patio did just the trick. Good times with some great girls...we chatted, vented, gossiped and laughed...we always laugh, together, at each other...but laughter none the less...I love these girls and really soak up every minute we have together. I love it that we always make time for each other, such a great friendship we have...I think we'll be lifers...H Girls Lifers...!

I know it's been too long.

Ok, I'm sorry...it's been a while since I posted. For those who even read, so sawry. I will try not to do that again. :(
I woke up yesterday morning and today feeling uck...I managed to put my full day in yesterday, but today is a different story. I stayed until 11:15 this morning, then decided to call it quits. With a sore throat, headache, stuffy and cramps...I was ready to just hit the road for home.
I haven't been sleeping very well either the past few nights, so I'm sure that has something to do with it, when you don't have a decent or good sleep your body and mind doesn't work in high gear...I can't quite function myself.
I'm sure another reason why I haven't been sleeping well also is because my fucking cat has started a habit of running around like a retard at around, um let's say 3am and 4am...and decides to jump up on the bed. When he realizes we don't WANT to play, he starts yelling..aka Meowing like a fucking banchee...SERIOUSLY!?! Can you murder a family pet?
So long story short, feeling crummy, and my cat is driving me nuts. So I guess a pretty normal life...ya ok.
Can't wait for the last weekend of July...heading East again. This trip will consist of;

-Relaxing around town
-Baby shower for one of my besties Sam
-My cousin Howies wedding in Fredericton
-Hanging with my friends and family around town

Can't wait! Plan is, departing after work Friday July 29th, to drive though the night with Erin (another bestie) and Angel. Road trip...!!

Long Weekends are great

Gotta love Mondays of long weekends...how my day has gone so far...Slept in until 8:35 am...whoohooo! Made a Yummy Smoothie for Marty and I for breakfast. My own creation of course:

- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup of frozen rasberries
- 4 ice cubes
- Chocolate flavored Boost for Diabetes
- 1 cup of skim milk
- 1 heaping teaspoon of almond butter
- 1 teaspoon of ground flax seed

It turned out sooooo yummy...and totally filled us until lunch time. I will defintely make it again.

So then I had a nap at around 11 am....felt really good. I'm so used to go go go...that it was really nice to not have to rush out. After our nap, we had some lunch...a Tuna sandwich on WW with a small bowl of chili. Very yummy...

After lunch we went to wash the truck and then came home and went for a walk for a coffee at one of our favorite coffee shops in the village, The Little Red Roaster. Then we walked a bit, took a few photos...good after overall.

And as for supper: Chicken breast, with sweet potatoes (baked or mashed, not sure yet) and peas and corn. And for tonight, well who knows...more chilling I guess, maybe read a bit too, got a few books from the library. Good times...

A nice quiet easy post today. More more excited on the next post...or in the future, who knows.

Oh another week gone like the wind....

So we have been to NB and back, ALREADY...and already finished a full week of work since then too...

So a few new things in my life;
We bought a new Laptop, Samsung...something or other, I don't know the specs, but it was a good one for a good proice.
Also got a pantry from Walmart. Oh I just love it, such a space saver...and hides all the kitchen junk...it's great.

You know you're getting old when you get excited on hiding the junk/kitchen clutter in a cheap ass Walmart pantry...too freakin funny...I just chuckled to myself.

Well I'm not sure if you had the chance to see my other blog. This blog is geared more towards my weight loss journey. Today was a nice proactive day for the most part. Got up, did groceries for 8am...I know it's early, but it's not busy and all the shelves are stocked and all the produce is fresh and good to go, came home, had breakfast, tidyed up, put laundry away that my wonderful husband did for me yesterday, THANKS BABE...then dyed my hair, showered, and joined a friend to run some errands...good times, Thanks Jodi.

So I guess along side of living pay to pay with my best friend by my side, yes Marty that's YOU...Life is good. This may not be exciting to you, but for me that's the most excitement a small town girl like myself is happy to have. I think I am a city girl at heart though...Still loving my life.

7 more sleeps until we leave for New Brunswick!! Can't wait to get out of dodge, really, I can't wait! It's been a long 7 months of no time off or vacation....so we're due. I'm excited to be going "Home" but I can't help but think about diddly awesome it would have been to go to Cuba or Domincan or even Jamaica again...anywhere hot for that matter...

One very excellent thing that has happened to me recent'ly, I lost 20lbs! Something that I am very proud of. Thanks to my friends, family and husband for the support. Feels good and can't wait to shed another 20!

It's Saturday and the Sun is Shining!

Another week gone by. The sun is shining this morning. It's gorgeous out. Was up early to do groceries for 8am. We go early now because on Saturday mornings it's not busy AT ALL...plus the shelves are stocked to the max...it's great. We used to do our grocery order on Friday nights, but it was so fucking busy and there was jack shit left. So one of our Saturday chores down!

We plan on hitting the Asian Market today on Adelaide for some fresh Talapia and possibly some tofu. I have been wanting to try a few recipes from my Eat Clean Cookbook that call for Silken Tofu. Then we're headed out to Lynn's Bakery for some homeade Rye bread for the week. It's so good and the loafs are really big for only $2.30. I know that might sound expensive for a loaf of bread, but it's double the size of a loaf of rye from the grocery store.

Then we're pop into the Armstrongs for our weekly visit. I do have a call in shift today from 2-6p. I am hoping that I'm not needed. It's a catch 22 for a Saturday call in shift...I could use the money, but on the other hand I love to have my Saturdays for getting things done and relaxing. So we'll see...and of course I can't forget the most important thing of all...I will be hitting the GYM at some point today too! Woohoo...can't wait to test out my new kicks on the treadmill!

I'm trying to figure out how to cope with a life issue I have. I thought I knew what to do, but tonight I just got annoyed again. I thought I was over it but I'm not. I need to try and figure out how to get past it. Ya know...I know you're probably thinking, What...what are you talking about. It's just not something I can post right now. Maybe some day, but not this day.

16 more sleeps and we're headed HOME...Home Sweet Home! Can't wait...it's been 7 months...so we're due! I'm due...

I am alive, I swear!

I know it's been forever! My life the past few weeks has been pertty chaotic and fun and emotional and sad and happy all in one. I know, crazy!
Well I'll start by telling you got a little one year old Pug pup..she was so sweet. I use "was" because we no longer have her. Had her for a week, and realized that we made a mistake. I really heartbreaking mistake. Now, it's not because she wasn't a good girl, cause god knows she was. A little hyper, but she was a Pug. The breed that I love...so that's why it was heartbreaking for me. So long annoying sad story short, we had her a week. I walked her, but we had to crate her while we were at work, and crate her at night cause she wasn't 100% trained. When she wasn't crated, she was very restless due to the fact that our apartment is VERY small. It just wasn't fair to her. Small dog or not...I felt like she was depressed. And not to mention our poor Oliver was trapped in our bedroom all week. We didn't think it through completely and it happened so fast. We talked to my friend about taking her on Wednesday from her Aunt and then we had on her Friday. So ya, FAST.
But on a happier note, she is in a very good home now. Big backyard and another dog for companionship, plus a country home and 2 kids who will LOVE HER sooo much! It all worked out, not in my favor though, as usual. But, what can ya do!

So besides all that, I have been just doing the same ole. We help The Mabees move into their new house a couple weeks ago. The day went well if you ask me. It was raining that day which was shitty, but there was enough of us to really get shit done. I'm happy it went well. They are all moved in now. Very nice home. And getting settled little by little. It's going to be beautiful once they have it exactly the way they want it! :)

And on another note, my poor husband has a little foot ulcer again. So he's off for 2 weeks, hoping it heals well in that time. Pretty crappy, but we're used to the shit falling on us. Something good will happen, someday! haha

I do have some fun news, but it isn't ready to be shouted from the rooftops yet so stay tuned! :) I know I know, horrible that I would even tease you like that eh! he he he

BEYOND!!!

I am BEYOND needing a vacation these days! Seriously, I can't concentrate at work, I'm so tired...I get my workouts in, then walk home...and have nothing left for the rest of the night. Honestly, I'm pooched. Not neccesary physically, but mentally, I've got nothing left. I just want to sit and do nothing...I don't even have any Facebook energy...I get one, and look at photos and that's it. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME...!

I'm hoping our trip home for Easter will revive me...I'll get to see my family, and my friends from home. It should be a good weekend and week...apparently there an annual 3 on 3 Hockey Tournament that is going on so there will be some action in town and at the rink. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces. Hopefully be able to have a few sociables with friends too!

I think I need a tea...I'll have to run down...I'm at work while posting this. I really should be working, but I can't get into it. Holy fuck...

Well...here's hoping my winning ticket from last weeks Lotto Max is a winner for money this week. I went in on a ticket with Roni and Cindy, my colleagues and we won a free ticket. I'm gonna go get that ticket with Encore and hope that this Friday is a money winner...money money money money...I really think that winning the lottery might just get me out of this funk...Yup, I'm pretty sure it would....

I know I have posted a "I hate Monday" before because when I went to type in my title, it remembered and already came up for me...!

So Ya, Mondays UCK! I woke up this morning with such a headache. I was considering just staying in bed, but I knew that the work wouldn't go away, so I decided to get up and go to work. I am hybernating at my desk today...I won't be getting up to chat or socialize today, just gonna work my butt off to clear some stuff.

I didn't much of a weekend...since I worked Saturday and Sunday at AdditionElle. Which hasn't happened in a while so really I will not complain, #1 - I need to extra money #2 - Well there is none, but I thought it looked better if I had a #1 and #2. Whateve...it's my blog! lol

I am at work, so I should get to it eh...just felt like posting a little somethin' somethin'...maybe I'll post again later...we'll see!

Oh boy oh boy, thank godness it's Friday...and I really mean that. The past few weeks have been pretty crazy...at home, at work, everywhere. I'm just so happy to have 1 extra day off this weekend.

I went to the mall last night to pick up a few things...the most fun and special thing I got to take home was a new Coach Wristlet...yes that's right...!! A COACH writstlet...I had toe pleasure to take a donation from my colleagues for another team member who was retiring. So after collecting for a few weeks, it was decided that we would get her a Coach bag. So I went in to Coach last week and browsed...it was so fun, even if it wasn't for me. The ladies there were so helpful, what great service...Coach, White Oaks mall, if you're in the London area and want to treat yourself to something special. So anyway...after buying the nicest bag ever...I left the store, feeling good...and I'm not gonna lie kinna cool...since I got to prance around the mall with a GINORMOUS Coach shopping bag...Oh ya people, I shop at Coach, believe it! HAHA

So a few days later I get a little envelop in the mail, return address COACH, White Oaks Mall. WHAT?! Oh maybe it's just a flyer or something...Ya..Um...NO...it's a really nice hand written card saying thank you for coming in and shopping for your colleague...and that they thought I deserved something special too, so included a $50 Gift Card. Can you Believe it?!?! No minimum pruchase neccesary...I was so excited...so needless to say I had to get it spent like PRONTO, since of course it expired at the end of this month...so off I went to get meself another wristlet...I would have loved to put it towards a bag, but I just didn't have the extra $150-$200 dollars, so a wristlet will do! See below...it's all mine...and I love it...and I really love COACH! Thanks ladies!

I can't remember if I posted that I have been Eating Clean since January 2nd...well if I haven't, there you have it! I have been working out 4 times a week and eating a clean well balanced diet. I feel amazing and great energy, for the most part...except some mornings, but that's my own fault for going to bed so late some nights.

I am working my ass off to shed some this bullshit fat I've been carrying around for years! WELL...in the month of January 2011, I have shed 7lbs!! How awesome is that...?! I'm happy, I'm pumped and I'm pretty fucking motivated these days!!!! Well to add to the excitement, I have lots inches from head to toe, life is gooooood!

At the beginning of this post I was pretty motivated to tell a longer story this time, but I lost my mojo...so I'll end it now so I don't babble on nonsence and will repost tomorrow! Sorry....

My goodness time flies!

It has been a long time since I have posted. And if there is anyone who actually reads my blog, I am so sorry for the delay.

Hmmm what has went on since my last post...let me see...Well Christmas happened...it was a nice one! I did miss my family terribly, but I got through it. My husband was very good to me again this year. He's so wonderful and good to me all year anyway...but this year was a great one!

We spent New Years Eve with our VERY good friends, The Armstrongs...Shelley and Trevor as well as my wonderful friend Mel. We has some yummy treats, watched a few movies and had some good laughs and just really enjoyed each others company. It was great! It'll be our last year with the Armstrongs over the holidays since they are moving to MEXICO...yes that's right, I said Mexico! We are very happy but very sad that they will be leaving us. We are very much looking forward to visiting though. They will be settling in a small town about 45 minutes from Guatalahara (forgive the spelling), called Ajijic. It's going to be such a wonderful change for them and they are going to love it!

I started back at AdditionElle just before Christmas and decided to stay as a part time employee even after. I am happy that I made that decision. It's always alot of fun and I really enjoy the change of scenery, not to mention the great girls I work with!

I also began a new journey...I can't go into too much detail, only because I have dedicated a blog to this journey... http://littleblackorreddress.blogspot.com It's a weightloss journey blog. As of January 2nd, I began my Eat Clean lifetstyle. So far so good, but you'll have to stang by, then check out my other blog to see how that is going.

So all in all, things are going good. I hoping for some wonderful things for Marty and I in 2011...We love and have each other...so that's a start!

Christmas that is...!

We had a great weekend. Friday night my very good friend Claudia came over and we had a great visit, went for a nice walk, and had coffee! I'm so glad I was able to spend some time with her, it's been awhile!
Saturday Brooke came over for a sleepover. It was a birthday sleepover and the day was all about her...we went shopping for an outfit at Old Navy, walked around the mall, bought some make up, came home for pizza supper, made cookies and watched Eclipse! Couldn't have had a better day!
Today was our Christmas supper with Del and Rob and family. WOW what a meal...I am still stuffed! We had such a nice time. We are really lucky to have great family. We love our time spent with them!

It's been a long time since I posted. We've gotten our first snow, which turned into a pretty major storm. The whole city was shut down. So it was major.

Looking to change my template, I think this one has gotten old. Stay tuned for a new background.

Ya, whatever eh!

Wednesday...not bad, half way there. The weekend should be a good one! Halloween Party at the Armstrong house on Saturday night...can't wait! It's the 2nd Annual and last party for Shelley and Trevor...next year they move to Mexico...which makes me sad. But we are really looking forward to the visit that's for sure.

I don't really have alot of news, and there is nothing exciting going on in my life. Marty and I are just doing our thing...work, eat sleep, Walmart, Costco, grocery store...visit friends, coffee...very routine. Yes, that's right, my most unfavorable word, Routine...! Ahhhh! hahaha

I have a feeling big changes are coming our way, I don't know what it is yet...but it's something, I can feel it! lol Ya like I'm spychic or something eh....not quite.

I really wish we could get a dog... :( It would have to be a puppy I think, so that it doesn't eat Oliver...Our place is too small for 2 adults and 2 animals...That makes me sad.

Why is it that every fuckign commercial tonight during Grey's Anatomy was about food??? Burger King, Delicio, Nature Valley Bars, Activia Yogurt...every freakin' commercial for real...I never usually pay attention to the commercial sequence, but tonight I was a bit snacky but really didn't need to snack...and was taunted and tempted with every commercial.

For gods sake I'm trying to loose weight...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying so hard to figure out how I can motivate myself, maybe brainwash myself into exercising more, eating less..choosing better foods...and not wanted to fucking binge everytime I feel sad...Sometimes I make myself so sick, more like, I wish I could punch myself, and of course not hurt me or anything...Arg!

Greys wasn't too exciting tonight...wasn't too bad though. I should get to reading...I am currently reading, "The history of Love" by Nicole Krauss. So far so good. It has to be finished by the 27th...so I had better get cracking. Eat Love Pray wasn't so bad. Didn't end the way I expected, but still was a good story, funny, uplifting, all that in no particular order.

Ah man...life is so confusing sometimes...just don't know what to do to get rid of the confusion. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I just don't know....

Finally got to see my brother Wade, it's only been over 3 years!! He lives in posted in Edmonton Alberta, but was on course in Borden Ontario. And since he was so close to us in London, decided he had to come see us. And I'm so happy he did. We had a blast! Some things just never change, and that's us laughing our asses off all weekend!

It was so nice to spend time with him and catch up! I'm so happy, it has been a long time coming.

Ahhhh Wed-nes-day!! And not just any old Wednesday...Happy Birthday Sam Wednesday!! One of my bestest friends in the whole wide world is 31 today! Damned girl...you are officially in your 30's!

And, on another note, Marty and I had Angel Leigh over for a sleep over this past weekend...it was alot of fun! And she was so good. We can't wait to have her over again. We played outside, went for walks, went to the park and watched Treehouse...HAHA! And also read books...She's so well behaved, we just can't get enough of her. She made us laugh over and over!

Not a whole lot going on these days. We're just going through the motions like the rest of the world...one fun thing, I am currently reading Eat Pray Love for my bookclub read. Well it was last months read and I still haven't finished it. Not far to go though, and so far I like it. It's an uplifting read. If you have been contiplating, do it, it's worth the read. Jodi and I plan on watching the movie as well featuring Julia Roberts. Looking forward to it! :)

Today is Monday

My vacation home has come and gone...No fair.

It was really to see my family, friends, new babies...old babies...all of it. I like being home. I have a sense if safeness when I am home. I have no clue why. But I do.

I didn't get to see Memere and Pepere though...they were gone to St Tite, along with my Dad and Marlene. Next I guess.

If you know me at all, you know that I hate Mondays...arg...Mondays should be a part of the weekends, but I guess I'd probably hate Tuesdays then. Whatever.

I think I'm sorta in a bad mood today. No explanation, just am. I think it might be due to the fact that I feel like I'm starting to get sick. My ears are sore, my neck is sore...I feel extra sluggish. I'm sure it'll pass.

When we were out East we managed to visit the Island, Prince Edward Island. Stayed the night in Charlottetown, which was very nice...went to the Gahan House for the BEST Fish and Chips I have ever had...they also brew their own Beer, so that was nice too. We walked along the water, soaked it all in...then later that night went for more Beer and Fresh Oysters at Fishbones, the sister restaurant to the Gahan House...we really enjoyed that experience.

The next day we took out our trusty GPS and drove up to Cavendish...which was equally beautiful. This time of year is a bit more quiet, the weather is cooler. Then drove to Summerside from Cavendish...then back to the Confederation Bridge to head back to New Brunswick. $42.50 to leave the island. Yup...that's unfortunate.

Good time! I'm hungry, as always.

Ok, 2 more Sleeps...

So last night was the worst sleep ever. Gawd, my lower back is killing me. I couldn't toss or turn cause it hurt that bad. I have no clue what the problem is...I haven't lifted anything heavy or done anything to hurt it...so I'm a bit annoyed about it. I hope it passes...cause I'm sure a 15 hour drive won't make it better...gawd...!
The week has been going good. Last night a few things we had to take care of before heading east. Tonight, gonna see Angel and Erin, then tomorrow Claudia will come and get our key to check the mail and watch BB with us. I need to pack still as well...!

It's Tuesday, Uck!

I'm at work...playing on the radio right now, Rude Boy by Rhianna...! I can't help but bob my head...I love the beat! It brings back memories of when I was in Jamaica..! Good times...

I want Christmas to be here...for what reason I have no clue. Christmas usually brings cold weather and snow...I'm not saying I want snow...I don't really...but what comes after Christmas is what I want...New Year, new plans, new choices, new adventures! I hope...

23 more sleeps and we're going home! Well, my home...I am excited...I'll be able to meet the newest addition to the Talbot/Lavigne Family...Baby Samuel...! He hasn't arrived yet, but any day now..! Can't wait...he'll be brand new when I get to see him! :)

Also, we are taking a little trip to PEI for a night or two, then making a few stops along the way back to Dalhousie, in Moncton and Miramichi! Very much looking forward to this trip, especially pumped to visit the Island, it's been years!

Ok, so I just wanted post a little something...I like to keep up on my posting, even though sometimes my post are not really that interesting. I'm not much of a story teller...and my life isn't really that exciting, yet!

It's Thursday...this week has actually went by quit quickly...for the most part I'm happy about that, but sometimes time goes so quickly that it's hard to really grasp life ya know. It passes you right by...kinna scary. That's why when you want something you better go for it...when you are thinking you need change or need to make a move, then you gotta do it. Before it's too late and you feel trapped...

Great things are coming my way, I can feel it! When those great things happen, I'll be sure to let you know. If there is anyone out there that actually reads my blog.

I know I don't actually blog on a subject or topic, or a craft or hobbie...I just blog when I feel like I need to just type/talk/vent...I mean for the most part it makes me feel better...not the everytime I blog I feel bad, but sometimes I get anxious and feel like I really need to blog to get stuff off my chest. So todays blog is half and half I think. There isn't anything in particular just yet that I need to get off my chest, but I just felt like I wanted to post. :)

This weekend is suppose to be a hot one...uck! We took our A/C out because it wasn't cooling anything...it's a good one, but for in a bedroom or something like that, not to cool a 1 bedroom apartment. So during the day on hot days, it's been very uncomfortable, and we've been wearing limited clothing...not kinky! lol Brooke will be coming over Saturday to have supper with us and to hang out...we're looking forward to that. She hasn't been over in a while...we always like having her...!

I'm actually at work...so I better just get back to it...I thought I'd just post a little something...hopefully I'll have more action in my next post...I should really post some photos soon too!

Oh so I am loving my new blog template...don't you?!?

I've been looking up other blogs the past few weeks, and have come to realize my life isn't that exciting...haha Well, not exciting next to some people. I need some good juice to blog about...I don't really love gossip...well, I do like to hear it and read about it, but it's not something that I would like to blog about myself. I have a few hobbies like cake making and photography...thus far I have posted pictures here and there on those subjects...so I guess what I'm looking for is another subject to blog about.

I have tried to blog about Fitness, and well, we all know how that turned out. It's better that I don't blog about cause it changes frequently. hahaha Oh well, it's my own fault and I blame no one.

I am in love with Photography! I could blog more about that can't I...I purchased a new camera which I did blog about once. I have since take lots of great photos, but I guess I haven't posted many have I?! Maybe that will be my weekend project, besides cleaning my apartment..Yes, I will try my utmost best to go through a few photos and choose some of my favorites and post.

I am very excited to be going to Kitchener on Sunday to visit my girlfriend Amanda and her new little Pumpkin Logan...! And of course her hubby, Jason! If he is around. I am really looking forward to this day trip, since it'll be my very first time meeting Logan! It's way overdue...

....at 2: pm I am officially on VaCaTiOn!! VERY much looking forward to the road trip home with Erin! We're gonna just drive...Woohooo!! So she picks me up for 2pm, I'm going home to get my stuff and off we go! I'm already packed and all my stuff if waiting for me by the door. My WONDERFUL husband is packing me a little lunch so that I don't have to buy food on the way! Isn't he great?!

NB here we come!

I'm sad I'm gonna miss Big Brother tonight though...I'm gonna miss the discovery of the Saboteur!! I'll get a few texts I'm sure...So far so good, the show is keeping me on my toes...!

I'm a little bit pumped for tonight at 8pm, the start of Big Brother 12. Should be interesting to see how this season pans out. I don't watch too many reality shows these days, well, if you don't counf HGTV and all the home reno shows, but BB is my sweet escape. Tonight I'll be watching it with Claudia at her place...looking forward it it, and getting a visit in with her and Winnie too!

Besides that jazz, not really much else to report except that I leave in 8 more sleeps for home! Erin and I take off Thursday the 15th after work and head home to NB! I have been looking forward to this road trip for weeks now! We're gonna have a blast driving home.

I finally got to see the third part to the Twilight Series, Eclispse. And it was really good! I just knew in the first 5 minutes of the movie it was gonna be a good one! I can't wait until Part 1 of Breaking Dawn. I will read the whole series again before November of 2011. Thanks ladies...that was fun!

I'm at work, and thought I'd take a little break to post.

I've been listening to the radio, same station I always listen to, Fresh FM (http://www.1031freshfm.com/) and they are playing a ton of Michael Jackson songs. Turns out today is the 1 Year Anniversary of MJ's death. Wow...1 year already! Seems like it was just yesterday...I mean I am fan, being a kid of the 80's, but to be honest, whatever. His publicity was always pretty contraversial...and some of the things he did, well, to be honest, I'm not interested! BUT his music is a different thing...you can't help but move...so I'm thoroughly enjoying the Tribute this afternoon!

Leaving at 3:30pm today. We're heading to Barrie to visit Amy, Landon, Hudson and Delaney!! We finally get to meet Delaney...I have seen some photos, and she's a cutie, just like her big brother!

So I am counting downt the time...it's 1:50pm, 1 hour 40 mins to go! Ok, so I should get back to work...

Starting Monday, I'm starting a 8 week running program, Erin is suppose to be on board with me! I am doing this, with or without anyone else! No holds barred!

My wonderful hubby is off today, so he will do laundry...which is sooo nice! And tonight, I will do some cleaning...tomorrow is an exciting day/night...and long overdue...the Hilton Girls are together again, for one night of fun and craziness, and lots of laughs...I can't wait! I love these girls...we're a good match, all of us!

Our itinerary for the evening will go something like this: Meet at hotel, then dinner...back to the hotel for a possible Hot tub dip and a few drinks...chat it up, get caught up...then head out to a night on the L-Town...Should be a lot of fun! Stay tuned for PG pics...if they're are any PG! hahaha

Have I ever told you I really hate Mondays...I don't know why exactly, because the never usually is horrible or anything, it's just the thought of having to go back to work after a busy non relaxing weekend... :(
I really need to do that, have a completely relaxing weekend, no interruptions. I will have to plan one...someday! But not this weekend...This weekend coming is my Hilton Girls Night Out and I am really looking forward to it! The old Hilton gang, well 7 of us, get together every couple of months, have dinner go out dancing and really let loose! And this weekend is no exception...well for most of us anyway, with exception of LeeAnn, she's pregnant for this visit...But that's ok, she'll have a blast regardless!
I need to start posting earlier in the evening...I get so tired, and can't seem to think of things to say, or type.

I went to see Erin and Angel tonight...they leave tomorrow for NB. God Angel is growing, and getting smarter and smarter by the day...she's adorable...she can't say Tanya, so she calls me YaYa...I love it! I just love that kid...Marty and are gonna have her over for a sleep over some night...I'm just afraid she won't want to sleep...and then cry all night to go home...we'll have to play it by ear!

Weekend that is...gawd, I wonder why it goes by so fast...is it because we are so fast, maybe we need to slow down some...not do do much on the weekends, but on the other hand it's the only time we can, during the week we're too tired, and just want to do to bed early! No fair...
I've had heart burn for 4 days now...not fun, pretty yuk actually!

How do you like the new template? I like alot...it's fun...it makes be feel like I'm lying in a field in the summer...makes me feel like take pictures!
I went to price out the new lense I want...and I will get it soon...couple more pay checks and she's mine!
My husband is so great, and patient with me...and his patience are pretty slim for the rest of the world, except for me...we want a house, well I do...I know he does too, but he still lets me buy things that make me happy...It's not really that fair eh, that I get to buy things, and he doesn't, I love him for that....I love him for more than that really, he cooks, and cleans, and does dishes...what more could a girl ask for?

Weekend is here...Hip hip horray! Too bad it goes by so quickly. Tonight, we went Michaels and Chapters, not for anything in particular...I did end up getting Fondant for my cake order for next weekend, and Marty bought himself a magazine. I know big spenders...lol We're on a budget!

I'm thinking of writing a book...sounds crazy I know...I need inspiration though. I'm feeling so uncreative these days and I'm not loving that feeling...I don't know what I need...but I need something...I know I have said that before...but now it's starting to consume me. I think about it night and day, think about how un-fun life is for me right now, too many routines...I'm in a rut...I hope I find what I'm looking for real soon...

Anyone out there have any suggestions??

It's only 9:54 am, so I still have the whole day to do whatever. But still, this day, Sunda, is the end of a nice weekend...no fair. Why can't we have 3 day weekends? But then if we did, would we choose to have Friday off...Or Monday off...oh my, decisions decisions....

Last night we went to Karen and Jamies place, then had a house warming party...It was a fun night! We made homeadde Mojitos...they didn't taste as good as they do when someone else makes them for you that's for sure...but they weren't bad.

The past few days I've been cleaning and getting rid of stuff...can you beleive it....yes PURGING...shoes, books, old papers...It's time to lead a clean tidy simplelistic living....!

It's Tuesday...I'm so tired...I'm tired of hearing Lady GaGa's Bad Romance...Ahhh....I think I need a new radio station to listen to at work...they tend to play the same shit over and over again.

...of kicking me own arse! Todays workout was a great! Got 50 mins of cardio in, which included 20 mins on the elipticle, 20 on the treadmill and 10 on the bike. Got my leg workout in, and abs. I did do a bit of arms, but I did arms yesterday and did not want to hurt myself.

Feeling good...I need to keep my motivation, need to keep going. Watched the Biggest Looser last night, and was really touched...if they can do it, why cant I...I will do this. I will, I will, I will! Yeah!!

As it stands right now, the Habs are kicking Pittsburgs ass! Just thought Id add that..! Ha

It's Tuesday today...and I am taking the step I've been trying to take for over a month now...the step of getting my ass back to the gym. I'm quit excited to get back into that groove! I've been thinking about it alot lately, and feel like I need to get back into it. I have no clue why I lost my motivation and drive, but I'm hoping I got it back! I need to...
I was looking at some pics of past posts, specifically Januuary and Johns wedding, and man my face was huge, not to mention the rest of me...pretty disgusting...so I am taking the leap of getting my body back into the fitness world. So we'll see what happens! I have a wedding to attend in July, and I'm hoping to find something nice to wear! I have 2 months to get my shit together...
I don't know who reads this, if anyone even does, but if you have any workout tips or suggestions to keep myself motivated please let me know!

It's Easter Monday today, and I am at work...yuk yuk yuk! I wish we had Monday off with the Friday. Ah well, can't complain too much, I did have Friday off, and the weekend was just gorgeous! Friday we slept in, relaxed, tidyed up! Rent a few movies for that night, The Vampires Assistant, which wasn't too bad, geared more towards teens/young adults I would say, and Up in the Air, which wasn't bad either. Not what I expected, but George Clooney did put on a good performance.
Saturday we did groceries, our running around, and if you can believe it, I had a nap...YES an hour and a half nap, god it was nice!! Then that evening we went to the Blackshire for a beer for Jodis Birthday. Good times! Easter Sunday, made a few calls, prepared things for Easter supper with the Mabees and Armstrongs. Very yummy dinner! Thanks guys for having us over!
Today should be a good day! Looks like a nice sunny one again...I should get to work, just wanted to post quickly!

I really wanted to keep up on my blog...the past few weeks have been so insane. We were house/dog sitting for our friends Shelley and Trevor while they vacationed in Mexico! Now we're home...it's nice to get back to our routine I guess, even though the change in scenery was nice, and the extra space was extravagant as well as the on site laundry, what a treat!
Ok so I haven't been able to get out there and really test out my new camera yet. I've been taking a few shots here and there around, but haven't really gotten into it. I did try and load some photos, but for some reason my PC isn't reading the memory card. So must take the time to watch my training video, and read my manual, so please be patient for photos. I have no clue if anyone actually reads my blog, but you are out there reading about my boring life, I will post pics soon!
It was such a beautiful day today, 23 degrees! I hope it stays! 20 more sleeps until Jamaica and I still haven't found a dress for the wedding...so I think I'll have to make a trip over the boarder next pay...I hope I find exactly what I'm looking for...not sure that is, but when I see it I'll know!
Ok, well I just wanted to post something....OH...I just had my 5 year anniversary with the company, I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers!! Very nice...

Wednesday it is...and I am tired this morning! Had my 2nd Everyday Style party last night, and it went really well! I am so happy! Tonight, I have nothing going one, thank god! I'm just pooped, and need the night off with nothing to do. Tomorrow I have another party, for my friend Pam, in St. Thomas, should be a good night as well. Can't wait!
I wanted to write today, just for a quick little update. We're still at the Armstrongs place. Really enjoying that, and so is Oliver. I think Flash is enjoying our visit as well. I think tonight I will sweep and tidy up. I need to wash a blacket as well so I'll do that too. I am tidying a little everyday so that I don't have a huge clena up before Shelley and Trevor come home. I want to make sure they have nothing to do, except their laundry from their Trip. Nothing better than coming home to a nice clean house, clean bedding and just relaxing! So that's my goal!

Hi! Just a little post this afternoon.

Been house/dog sitting since this past Wednesday at Shelley and Trevors place. It's going quit well actually. Marty and I as well as Oliver are really enjoying the extra space. Not to mention do laundry whenever we want to... :) S & T are in Mexico for the next week and a half now, returning April 1st.

The weekend went by very quickly. Friday night Erin and Laura came over for a visit, which was really nice. Since Marty has been working until Midnight, it was nice to have the company. Then Satuday we did some running around as usual, groceries...then came home, rested and picked up. It was Erins Birthday on Saturday as well, so Erin, Norm, Laura, Angel, Marty and I went bowling! That was fun! Then came back to the house for some Pizza, Salad and Birthday cake. Overall we had a nice day! On Sunday we went over to our apartment to pick up a few things, then came back. Totally chilled out...it was a semi nice day, so I sat on the front porch with Flash and read in the swing...until it got too chilly of course.

I'm working on Breaking Dawn now. I'm about 4 chapters in. Gosh, there is so much juice at the beginning, I can't even imagine what the rest of the book has in store....I am really looking forward to it. But not in another sence...what will I read...? What will get me giddy? What will take me to that place, away from everything and everyone? I guess I'll have to look for inspiration elsewhere, maybe in my new camera perhaps?!? We'll just have to see!

Saturday night got together with the girls, and we watched Twilight!

My opinion: It was certainly a good movie, and they didn't gear away too much from the book, which is what I liked. It was certainly nice to see faces, and matched the characters from the movie, with characters from the book. Now I know what to picture in my head while reading. Robert Pattinson aka Edward played a good part, I thought he was so mean at the beginning...even though in the book he's mean, it just seemed so harsh in person I guess. But overall I like him. Now Kristen Steward aka Bella Swan on the other hand, wasn't a great actress at all. Now I hope they are right by saying first movie was disappointing and that the rest are much better. There were a few cheesy parts, like when they run through the forest...and when then fly from tree to tree. But I'll say overall, it wasn't bad. So my hopes are up yet again, for New Moon. We are going to wait for Shelley to get back from Mexico to have another movie night! Can't wait! I hope I can hold out for another 2 weeks...the DVD comes out this week!

I've got a Fever...

A fever of the Twilight Book series by Stephanie Meyer. Oh my soul...I know I'm a bit late. But I was too busy planning my wedding and other things to get into it last year. But now that I am in, I'm hooked! Currently reading Book #3 of the series, Eclipse. Next Breaking Dawn. These books are incredibly addictive in a WONDEFUL way...I love the way it makes me feel, where the story takes me. Oh how I dread the end, I am halfway through Eclipse, and will be taking my time for the remainder.

Saturday night, myself and Shelley, Jodi, Erin and Christy will watch Twilight the Movie! I haven't seen it yet, nor has Jodi or Erin, I believe Shelley and Christy both have watched it, but they are just as in love as I, and can't wait to see it for the 2nd time!

I'm so sorry it has taken me yet, again, forever to post. Life catches up to you that's for sure. I am still loving my position. Right now it's not as busy as it normally would be, but we're managing to keep steady with other things. Once the contract staff dispurse to other position, our workload will pick up and it will be fill force.

Only 43 more sleeps until we're in SUNNY Jamaica!! Funny story..my cousin Julie calls me a few weeks ago and just bursting with excitement that her Fiance Nic booked a trip for 2 for her March Break (She's a teacher) t0 Jamaica! At the time she didn't know the details, but knew it was booked and that they were going! So turns out, I spoke to her this past weekend, and they were at the same resort we're going to in April for Sam and Marks wedding! Isn't that hilarious...so she's sending me all of her pictures on disk and we get to have a sneak peak, sweet...and for the record she said it was a BEAUTIFUL resort, they loved every minute of it...and the people were so great and the food was AWESOME! So that really eases us! And not to mention makes us even more excited to go! So fun!

Well I think that's all I have right now, so I hope your forgive me for taking so long to post. I will try my best to not let it go this long again!

it's so busy, I'm not "on it" as I want to be.

This past weekend, I went to Burlington to get some visits in with January, Adrian and Finley. And I was lucky enough to meet up with Meaghan, my roomate when I was in Fredericton. It was sooo wonderful to see her and to finally meet her little girl, Payton.
It was a busy weekend to say the least. A 2yr old and a 3 and a half month old keep one busy. And this little 2yrs old, Adrian, is a but one, active is more like it. But a really good boy, and smart as a whip! Doesn't miss a thing, that's for sure.
Thanks for having me January, I'm glad I could help out while John is away! I had a blast and can't wait for my next visit! XOX

I'm back....Sooo Sorry!

I'm so sorry that I have been neglecting my precious blog. Life have been so busy, with the new job and coming home and getting stuff done, spending lots of time with my wonderful husband...and getting seriously sucked into the MAGNIFICENT Twilight Series! Oh my soul...I can't even tell you how wonderful the book is. I know I know, it's so last year...and I am a little late, but, better late than never. I think last year when it was so in, I wasn't really too interested...I had alot going on, such as preparing and constant thoughts of, a WEDDING! lol But now that part of my life has passed, I have my thoughts back...and I'm sooo happy that I do, because I can't put this special book down.

Today is "Love" Day, aka Valentine's Day! So far it's been great. My husband and I agreed not to buy any gifts or chocolate this year. Which was fine with me...we had lunch at home, and we're making a very special dinner together, Julia Childs Beef Bourgignon. So far the steps have been pretty easy. And I love that it calls for 3 whole cups of RED WINE! lol Mmmm...not to mention I am having a glass right now...one sec, time for a sip....Oh la la, I love the way it makes my tongue tense. Wine of choice today, A Pelee Island Shiraz. My first purchase, it it is certainly doing the job!

I am feeling good these days, and my training is going very well. On my outside work life, I am happy...a little, uninspired. I'm not really sure what I need. I get this way every once in a while...I guess I always manage to get through it, but this time I feel like I need to try something different...not sure what, any suggestions?

Next weekend will be a nice change in pace for me, I am taking a road trip to Burlington to visit my very dear sweet friend January and her 2 very special little boys. Adrian, 2, and Finley just a wee little one. A few months old. We're going to hang out and play and chat and enjoy each others company. Her husband John is away on business, and I volunteered to come and assist her with her 2 little guys. I am really looking forward to it. I really hope the weather holds, I would hate to postpone due to weather, that would really, Suck! So fingers crossed, it will be a nice clear late afternoon Friday for my drive!

Then, the next weekend after that...SAM is coming!! Yay! I can't wait to see her again...it's been since the wedding. We're going to have a wonderful weekend! Dinner, drinks, and girls night out! Dancing...Oh I just can't wait! I love my girls...what would I do without you! XOX

Well I guess that's all I really have to post for now...I should go check on my Beef Bourgignon, see how it's doing. I am looking forward to sitting later on this evening with a full tummy and a special book! The book that takes me away from my life, I guess, it might very well be the inspiration I was looking for and I didn't even know it. I wonder if I can get creative enough to write a best seller as Stephanie Meyer has done....lol I doubt it!

1 Week down

Yup, one week down already. It was a good week though. But next week is when the real stuff begins. We actually have a training room.
I'm very disappointed in myself self though. I only made it to the gym twice this week. And even more pissed that I had every intentions on taking my first Cycle class this morning, to only wake up witn an upset stomach that lead to a mild case of Diareha...(spelling ?) I know, sorry, like you really wanted to know that. But that's what happened, I didn't want to be in a class to have to jump off the bike to run to the bathroom. Not ideal. So next week I am for sure...I don't want to take a class during the week, only because I am still training, and most classes are during the day. And I heard you sweat buckets, and I wouldn't have time to shower. So I'll stick to working out after work...I know what I might do is try and do a Body Pump class after work.
So needless to say my fitness wasn't up to par this week. And you know what, I'm only hurting myself. It's very aggrivating...fuck. I think tomorrow I am going to plan out my week, and make sure I stick to it. Why do we allow ourselfs to disappoint ourselfs...seriously. When someone asks you to do something for them, we go out of our way to get the job done, and a good job at that. So how come we allow ourselfs to skimp out on us...Arg!
Well I'll leave you with this. If there is anyone out there that actually reads my blog, don't be shy, feel free to comment! What a great day today was. I think this new position is going to suit me just fine. It's great that I already know alot of the system, since I used it in Death Claims. I don't feel the pressure of starting a new job as I would normally. I like my new cube/office alot. It's in a really nice area, and quiet. Well, quieter than what I'm used to. So overall, the went well...I'm very happy in my new position. Now ask me in a few months...I hope I feel the same way...I'm sure I will.

My new neighbors seem to be great as well. Lots of friendly faces and good welcome greetings!

I'm excited. Hope Day 2 is just as good.

Well I entered a cupcake contest tonight...Christy and I came up with a cupcake each to enter the Fresh Fm and Sweet Cakes cupcake contest. Of all the entries, 10 will be chosen to be viewed on their website, www.1031freshfm.com And I guess the listeners will be able to choose the cupcake they like best. The theme is Make a Wish Foundation, which is wonderful! So the cupcake that gets choosen wins $500.00, and that cupcake will be made over and over for 1 whole year by Sweet Cakes, and all proceeds for the year of this cupcake will go to Make a Wish Foundation. Claudia and I attended a former co-workers Art Opening last night at Museum London. We've been to another show of his. I really enjoyed this one alot. It was called "Heave and Hell" by Aidan Urquhart. We weren't sure what type of Art it actually was, so Claudia Googled him and it looks as though he refers himself to an Art Terrorist. Cute...I'll tell ya he's far from an actual terrorist...but to be an Art Terrorist, I can totally see it! He's a very talented individual, and his peices are beautiful...his creativity drawns you right in. It's almost as though it's a game...and you're the player...
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and want to thank Aidan and Wendy for the invitation! Congrads Aidan, and keep the wheels turning! Can't wait for the next show...

I am happy to ahve the day off tomorrow. I have a few appointments in the morning, but then I have the whole afternoon to myself. Looking forward to it. I'll be downtown, so after I'm done my business, I might look in the shops...I never really get to do that.
So today I did a 45 minute Body Pump class with Lisle today...holy shit, there were some new moves that totally killed me. Holy fuck, I was like MUSH...then I don't know what the heck possessed me to do Cardio after work, but, I did...25 minutes is all I could do, but, I did it. I feel GOOD but a bit tired. I'll get over it though. I have to...cause April and July is right around the corner!
Tomorrow night I am helping out Jodi at the Home Show. They needed an extra person to direct the vendors to the building where they are setting up. So I'll be there for about 3 hours tomorrow night and Thursday Night. Easy money....and I need a hair cut and a new bra, so that's where the money is going to.
I still haven't figured out how to post pictures on this new template. The option is no longer there for some reason. As soon as I figure it out, I'll post some of my favorite wedding pics, and some pics from Christmas.

I'm getting used to my new look. I really ~~like~~, Love it...it was a bit annoying last night when I was trying to set it all up, but now that I figured out a few things, I am a happy girl again!

It's Monday, and well you know how much I HATE Mondays. Today was no exception really. My husband was up very early for work, 430am, um...yup that's right 430am. So of course I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep for an hour...OMG, do you know how frustrating it is to be awake at 430am when you only have to get up 2 hours later. Anyway I managed to get through the day. I just have a ton of things to do, so it's a bit more yuk for me. This is my last week in Death Claims. Monday I start a new position, Bilingual Client Service Coordinator. I will be on the 4th floor rather than the 7th aka "The Penthouse". I will be on the Admin, Payout team. I'm really looking forward to the change. And meeting some new people too.

Ok, so hopefully you like the new dudds. I do. But I am a little out of my element. I cannot seem to get my favorite sites back and all my favorite blogs. I think I might have deleted them in error. I am annoyed...another thing, my fucking keyboard has tricked me, and I cannot get the question mark and the comma thing for canèt, see itès that stupid e with the accent...arg! And to add to it all, the Saints just beat Minnesota, and are now going to the SuperBowl...arg!

Ok I am tired now...back to work tomorrow...Mondays are my least favorite day of the week. I have a busy one ahead too...it is my last day in Death Claims...so lots of stuff to do!

Oh how I love Saturdays

Was up at 730am this morning...just woke up on my own...it was nice, no alarm! Feeling real good..not sore today at all. I worked hard at the gym after work yesterday. 20 mins on the elipticle, 20 on the treadmill, with run walk intervals, and arm weights, an ab workout and 5 mins on the bike. Felt real good.

So we are already done the laundry, and it's put away...that's a big deal for me. I'm horrible, I'll just leave it there for the day, until Marty gives me shit...his is all put away it's my mine! lol

I'm going to go sweep and clean the washroom, then clean up. Marty and I are going for lunch with Trevor and Shelley today. Looking forward to it!

Ok, sorry I didn't post last night. I was too tired to stay online...I did go to the gym to do my cardio though. And I also did a few abs.

I'm still a bit sore today, but it's starting to go away. The squats and lunges at Pump class really did me in.

Mel was over for dinner tonight! It was really nice to see her. We don't see enough of each other often. Our schedules are so opposite, and with her going to school now. So it was a nice visit! XOX

I'm so tired, and fighting to stay up. Right now there is 7 minutes left to CSI then Greys is on...then I'm headed to bed. If it wasn't for Greys I'd be in bed already.

Tomorrow I will be hitting the gym after work...since I skipped tonight, well worth the skip though.

Can't wait for Tuesdays Pump class. 1 More week in death claims, then down to 4 I go! Very excited...and then 91 More days until....JAMAICA!!

I can sure feel the burn

Today, Wednesday. Yesterday, Tuesday...did my pump class...and yes that's right I can sure feel the burn. My upper legs are tight but I love it. Today I was going to do Zumba, but I think I might just stick to my original plan and hit the gym after work. I want to get some good cardio in and an ab workout.

Hump Day...is a good day. You just know the weekend is right around the corner. Last night we went to Zellers in Masonville to take a peak...we still had some money left from the gift card Mom and Roger gave us for Christmas...Marty really wants to get the Wii Active...unfortunately they didn't have it. So we settled on the Wii Resort Sports. Looks like alot of fun. He's been dying for a new game, poor guy has been bowling and boxing since Boxing Day! lol So I', sure this new game will keep him busy, and me as well. I'm sure we'll crack it open tonight, since there aren't any shows we watch on Wednesday, besides HGTV.

I'm at work, so I will cut it short. I'll repost tonight after my workout to let you know how I did.

So I got my ass to the gym today...glad I did. It felt gooood. 20 minutes on the elipticle machine, then 15 minutes on the treadmill, walk/run that is. I didn't do weights to day. I am doing my Body Pump class tomorrow...can't wait. Then I'll also go after work for Cardio.

Sitting here watching the Golden Globes...Wow it's been awhile since I have watch any awards shows. Kinna fun eh.
Ok so right to business. I haven't been that great this week when it comes to my Fitness. So last Sunday I did my Your Shape, had a great workout, I even broke a sweat....then Monday, oh baby was I sore. So took that day off...got up Tuesday still sore, but not nearly as bad as Monday...I did a Body Pump class. I love it, and can't wait for Tuesday to do it again. But sadly, I did nothing the rest of the week. And then nothing on the weekend. I am very annoyed with myself. But life goes on and tomorrow is another day. I will be bringing my gym stuff and will DEFF be working out.
I had a great weekend. Friday did our usual, Groceries...I cleaned a bit. Saturday morning, got up and cleaned some more...Then had my Hilton Girls over...We had a wonderful visit...And celebrated for Amanda and her new little bundle. Amanda and her husband Jason are expecting a baby boy, Logan, at the beginning of February. We are very excited for them! Time is flying...and they will make amazing parents!
Since I have nothing else to report...my Fitness was shitty this week. But I will make a promise to myself that this week will be better! That's right, it will be better....

Yes that's right! I'm letting my light shine...lol Did my first Body Pump class today, and I LOVED it....I am on a mission. I can't wait until the next class...

I've been thinking and trying to figure out what I could blog about and I think I got it. My weight loss mission...that's what I'll blog about. Why not...if a girl can blog about cooking, then I can blog about my struggles, challenges and accomplishments in a Weight Loss journey!

Ok so for my GREAT news...I got a new job! Wooohooo...still staying with Canada Life...but I'm moving to the Admin team. I am very excited to join this team, and very excited to work for a great boss. I have been hearing nothing but fabulous things about my new boss...which is such a great thing. Can't wait...! I will be starting my new position on Feb 1st! My last day in Death Claim, January 29th. It's hard to beleive that I have been with Death Claims for a year and 7 months...gawd...zoomed right by. I have decided I am not going to say Time Flies anymore, I need to find something different, so for today, it's Zoomed right by.

Ok, well I'm gonna finish watching the Biggest Looser, then hit the hay. I'm praying I won't be too sore tomorrow from Body Pump, but I guess we'll see! I'm hoping to do Zumba class tomorrow, but that will depend on how much pain I'm in....

Yes another weekend has come and gone. I've been trying to figure out what to post these days..? Last night Marty and I watched Julie & Julia...and got a bit of inspiration to post more. What a great idea to cook her way through Julia Childs cookbook and then to blog about it. Very fun...I don't think I'm that ambitious though, and besides god that would be so expensive to do. All those ingredients, not anything I will be doing anytime soon!
Something new is coming my way and I am super excited for the change, sorry, I can't get into details on this post, but I will on my next one. It's official, but not out of the bad entirely just yet...stay tuned though.
I'll post some Christmas pics soon. I don't have any great New Years photos though...we just went by Jamie and Karens then came home to eat and watch a movie, "The Air I breath", STUPID...don't waste your time or money! It had a great lineup of actors, but a stupid fucking movie...ah well, live and learn!

It's the day after Boxing Day

Yes it's true, it's the day after Boxing Day...Christmas was here but now it's gone.

I'm at a loss for words on how it just flew by. I know I say that alot, Time flies, it's come and gone, yada yada...I need to come up with a different way of saying it.

Marty and I visited the Armstrongs on Christmas eve...that was great! Great friends, great conversation. Christmas morning we had our time! Thank you to my wonderful husbands for the thoughtful gifts, I love them all!! As I love you. Then we went over to my Father-In Laws' place to exchange preseys...thank you Rick! We came home and relaxed and got our grub ready for supper with the Walsh/Dean Family! What a wonderful night we had...just like being with family, as a matter of fact, deffintely is family!

Facebook has taken over my life I think...so sorry I've been neglecting my blog. I will try to post more come the new year. I should have lots to post about. I am starting to run and train for a half marathon, so I'll keep you posted. Whoever actually read my blog anyway! lol Also Marty and I are going on our official Honeymoon in Jamaica...and then I'll be home in July for Julie and Nic's wedding! So lots of wonderful things to post!

1 Week today and it's Christmas!

Can you believe it...? We are one week away from Christmas...gosh time just flies. You know, we don't even have snow yet...we did get a little, but nothing major that's for sure...it all went away.
I haven't posted in a while I know...been so busy! Lots of fun good things...Del & Rob are engaged! How wonderful is that...Christmas is right around the corner...we have booked our trip to Jamaica....Ya mon..! So lots of good things to look forward too..

Hi! I haven't actually posted for no particular reason in a while, so I thought I would do just that. Time is come and gone...being already November 10th. I used to find that when time flew by it was somewhat scary, but now I realize that that is just what happens. It's what you do with your time that truly makes it pass quickly or not.
I had a little bit of a scare Sunday late, early morning Monday. I was on my PC and felt that I had a pain in my upper back that was somewhat working it's way to my chest strangely enough. About 10pm, I went to bed thinking I might feel better if I just layed down. Eventually I did fall asleep, but tossed and turned most of the time. At 11:40pm, I woke myself up gasping for air...and with a severe chest pain. Yes, very scary...got out of bed, thinking possibly just severe heartburn or indigestion. Had a glass of water and some Pepto Bimol. Walked around the apartment for a bit, hoping that this pain would subside. Of course after an hour, with it only getting worse, and my husband by this point was getting a bit worries. I wasn't really sure on what to do? Do I go to the Emerg, with all this H1N1 stuff going on, will it be full of sick, coughing people...that just made me sick to think of it...but it was 1245am...so I thought I'd better do just to be safe, and not to have some kind of heartattack at home.
So indeed we went in, and low and behold Not one person in the waiting room, could this be!?! (for reference, I went to the Victoria Hospital in London) So luckily for me got straight in, waiting about 10 mins to see the Dr, Dr. Murphy it was, and he was such a nice Dr. Thank you Dr. Murphy! Kind and soft spoken, made me feel so comfortable. Ordered an EKG, Chest exrays and blood test...got that all done, in about 20 minutes or so. Yup...20 minutes. After that I did have to wait on the results...wich thank god were negative. My blood pressure was a bit high, but I think due to the fact that I was a bit pannicked...
Dr. Murphy seems to think it might have just been my muscles between my ribcage spasming...not sure why, but who knows! I wasn't having at heart attack, that's all I cared about!
So was in and out in exactly 2 hours, not bad eh!

My days have been pretty low key these past few weeks. I'm totally fine with that though. There are a millions things I could be doing anyway. Our weekds usually consist of; Friday night groceries, pretty exciting eh! lol Saturday morning, laundry. Then after that we just play it by ear...it can be difficult at times not knowing what to do, considering everything cost money. But we manage to find something to do...it all works out.

I plan on taking life by the balls from now on...not that I didn't before...but turning 30 in less than a month, is starting make me feel as though I'm missing something. Not sure what...but when I figure it out, I'll be sure to let you know!

Congrads to the Lees, Amy, Landon and Hudson to their new addition! Born on October 24th, at 8:30am, 8lbs. A sweet little GIRL, Delaney Alyne Lee...and she looks just like her big brother Hudson when he was born!

Also, a huge Congrads to the Sodens, January, John and Adrian to their new addition! A new baby BOY...Finley Alexander Soden, born on November 6th.

There is a new addition to the Lee family, yes that's right, Delaney Alyne Lee has joined the family...Born on October 22, 2009 at 8:30am, I think. 8lbs something...and she looks just like her big brother Hudson when he was born! I will post pics at a later date, until then I wish the best to the Lees and I'll see you in a few weeks!

We survived...

The Turkey weekend, and man it was gooooood! I just love stuffing, especially my husbands, it is delish! It's already Wednesday, which is nice...the week is already half done...Not too sure what's on tap for the weekend yet...Hopefully get to visit with the Walsh/Dean family...Marty gets tattooed on Saturday, so I'll drop him off there...I have the whole afternoon to myself, and am really looking forward to it.

We changed the livingroom around, i like it...it's like we're in a new place...a really nice change. Oliver seems to like it too, he jumps up on the couch, and scares the hell out of Marty...so funny! We always get the nutty cats...we love him though.

It's a long weekend...

....and I'm so happy! This week has gone by quit quickly actually. I find once Wednesday hits, the rest of the week seems to fly.
My weekend will consist of laundry, groceries, clean our place, change our furniture around...I've been saying how I needed a change..I know I know, I just got married, that should be change enough, but really we haven't changed all that much really...we love each other just as much now as we did before, hell that's why we tied the knot! lol So I'm thinking maybe changing the furniture around a bit might satisfy my need for change for a little bit anyway, I guess we'll see.
Also another VERY excited event for the weekend, is of course...TURKEY dinner with the Mabees, and Armstrongs...I love Turkey dinner, and with friends just completes the Excitement! I could almost taste the Turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy...and I could almost feel the treadmill on Monday evening when I have my next session with my personal trainer Rick...remind me again why I agreed to Monday night at 8pm! Ahhhhh!!

Oh well, there is a price for everything, even Turkey!
